After this afternoon's tactical training session in Gávea, coach Cuca confirmed the starting lineup for the match against Boavista on Wednesday at Maracanã. Despite opting for a mixed lineup, the coach assured that the red-and-black team will be very strong against the team from Saquarema.

"I'm not fielding a reserve team. I'm fielding a strong team with great players. Our goal is to beat Boavista, which I consider one of the strongest teams in our group, and secure first place in Group B. First place comes with certain privileges, and we're going after them. The players who will be playing are highly motivated and prepared."

According to Cuca, the players who will be rested from Wednesday's game will do very strong physical and technical work.

"The outgoing players aren't being spared. They've been evaluated by the committee and will be doing some specific work. They'll work hard to be ready for the semifinals."

The Flamengo coach took advantage of the press conference to praise Douglas and Everton Silva, who will make their debuts wearing the Flamengo shirt on Wednesday.
