After this afternoon's tactical training session in Gávea, coach Cuca confirmed that forward Adriano will make his Flamengo debut on Sunday against Atlético-PR at Maracanã. The Flamengo coach has yet to decide whether the Emperor will start the match or sit on the bench.

"Adriano will play, but I don't know yet if he'll start. I'll decide that tomorrow. If he sits on the bench, he'll be a shield for whoever plays. I don't see it as pressure, especially since it's a temporary situation. He's just coming back, so we have to be careful. Let's see how he recovers from today's training. He trained very hard and was one of the standouts. He showed he's really hungry."

The coach was full of praise for the red-black striker.

"Adriano, when in form, is one of the best strikers in the world. He has a powerful shot, a very good header, and an incredible presence in the box. He's very difficult to mark. He'll certainly be an additional concern for opponents."
