Flamengo's starting lineup for tomorrow's match against Resende at 16 PM at the Maracanã, in a Guanabara Cup semi-final, has been announced. In the post-match press conference following this morning's technical training, Flamengo coach Cuca confirmed that Thiago Sales will partner Fábio Luciano in central defense.

"We're going to continue with Thiago Sales. We evaluated Douglas, we know we can count on him, but now with Juan's return and Thiago's confirmation, we'll have more balance on the left. He's a good player, he's already regaining his rhythm. He's been a starter on other occasions. And he has our confidence."

The Flamengo coach is counting on the support of the Flamengo fans at the Maracanã.

"Flamengo needs to be realistic. Resende will play the game of their lives tomorrow. It's a decisive match, worth a place in the final. Therefore, we have to be switched on and focused. I believe our greatest asset comes from the stands. I'm counting on the support of the Flamengo fans. I hope to see a packed Maracanã."
