After this morning's training session at Gávea Stadium, coach Cuca confirmed that midfielders Zé Roberto and Fierro will start against São Paulo next Sunday at Morumbi Stadium. They are expected to replace Ibson, who has returned to Porto, and Emerson, who is suspended.

"They're playing on Sunday and they already know it. This is a good opportunity for them. We have several absences, and I'll start preparing the team tomorrow. Our squad has good options, and we'll work to find the best team for Sunday. We lost practically an entire sector, the midfield, and we're facing a team that plays very well at home. We need to be careful."

Cuca highly praised striker Denis Marques, Flamengo's new signing for the Brazilian Championship and the Copa Sudamericana.
