After Friday morning's tactical training session, coach Cuca confirmed that he will not rest any players for tomorrow's match against Avaí at Maracanã. The coach said he spoke with the Flamengo squad and felt the players were highly motivated for the match, even though Flamengo has a decisive match on Wednesday against Inter in Porto Alegre.

"I had a chat with the players and asked everyone who was fit to play. Especially since we played an intense match on Wednesday that only ended after midnight. It's normal for someone to feel tired. The group's response was very good, and we won't rest anyone. But if we have any problems, the group has been notified."

Cuca said he had a great chat with Adriano during training this morning.

"It was a normal but productive conversation. I talked a little about myself and my time playing soccer. I offered some opinions and listened to him a lot too. I felt he was very excited. He said he'll work hard to start playing as soon as possible."
