After this morning's training session at Gávea, coach Cuca stated that the red-and-black squad has good options to fill the absence of Kleberson, who is on international duty with the Brazilian national team. Fierro, Zé Roberto, and Welinton could all earn a chance on the team.

"I have options for Kleberson's departure, and I'll implement them starting tomorrow. I can move Willians forward, with Welinton in defense, I have Fierro, Zé Roberto. They're all good options," the coach stated.

The coach spoke a little about the first contact he had with the Serbian Petkovic, Flamengo's new reinforcement for the Brazilian Championship and the Copa Sudamericana.

"Pet has been training since Sunday. He'll work harder, improve his physical condition, and then get back into the group's training as usual. What I think of him is that he's a professional with the same rights and responsibilities as everyone else. We spoke briefly; he's a well-known player; it was a normal meeting.
