After reviewing some videos of Volta Redonda and speaking with the players before this morning's recreational training session at Raulino de Oliveira Stadium, coach Cuca confirmed two changes for tomorrow's 17 p.m. match against the home team in the third round of the State Championship. Egídio replaced the injured Juan. The other change is the return of Marcelinho Paraíba in place of Kleberson. The coach believes these changes are part of his ongoing search for the ideal lineup for the team.

"It's natural to have the occasional change, because we're looking for the ideal formation and balance for the team. I thought it would be interesting to make a change for this game, giving Marcelinho a chance, as he came on very well against Bangu. Most importantly, however, is the team spirit, the strength of our squad, which was crucial in the last match," analyzed the red-and-black coach.
