After this morning's training session in Gávea, coach Cuca did not confirm striker Adriano's debut for the weekend against Atlético-PR at Maracanã. The red-and-black coach will wait for the week's training sessions to decide whether the Emperor will play.

"I can't talk about Adriano's debut without conviction. We'll work on him calmly until the weekend, listening to the player and the entire coaching staff to see how he's doing. Only later in the week will we know how he feels from the player himself. Confidence is the most important thing. If he says he's ready, "it's time," great. We'll need a lot from Adriano, and he from his teammates. It's a mix."

Cuca preferred to praise number 9 Josiel, who scored the goals in the victory over Santo André last Sunday.
