Cuca does not confirm the starting lineup
Toró, Jônatas, Erick Flores and Kleberson are competing for the places of Willians and Léo Moura, who are suspended.
By Flamengo Archive - inFlamengo's squad returned to Gávea on Tuesday morning for their final training session before tomorrow's decisive match against Madureira, at 16 p.m. in Edson Passos Stadium. The match is part of the fifth round of the Taça Rio, the second half of the Campeonato Carioca. With seven points, Flamengo is in third place in Group B. Botafogo and Friburguense, both with nine points, lead the group.
During the tactical training session, Cuca focused heavily on set pieces. The coach led a training session on a reduced-size field, with 13 players on each side. The starting players trained with: Bruno, Everton Silva, Fábio Luciano, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Toró, Airton, Jônatas, Kleberson, Ibson, and Erick Flores; Zé Roberto and Josiel.
One of Cuca's goals during training was to observe Toró, Jônatas, Erick Flores, and Kleberson. The players are competing for the spots of Willians and Léo Moura, who were suspended for the derby against Vasco.
After the activity, the red-black coach opted for mystery and did not want to reveal the starting lineup.
"The team doesn't leave until tomorrow, with 45 minutes left. It's good to make things a little more difficult for the opponent. I still have plenty of time to think. Regardless of who comes in, Flamengo will be strong for the game."
