Flamengo returned to training this Friday afternoon at Granja Comary in Teresópolis. Coach Cuca organized a collective training session to prepare for Sunday's match against Internacional at Maracanã Stadium. The match is part of the seventh round of the Brazilian Championship.

Cuca tested a new formation in the training session, with Fabrício alongside Welinton and Ronaldo Angelim in defense. Emerson, who was excused from training yesterday for a court hearing in Rio de Janeiro, trained normally. Cuca worked extensively on set pieces and quick counterattacks. The coach also paid special attention to the defensive positioning.

The starters won the match 2-0, with goals from Willians, after a fine play by Adriano, and Emerson. Adriano, in fact, was the standout performer of the training session, running hard and giving the reserve team's defense a hard time.

The only change Cuca made to the starting lineup during the training session was bringing in Everton for Fabrício. With the change, Willians played a little deeper.

Cuca selected the starting lineup as a collective with: Bruno, Welinton, Ronaldo Angelim and Fabricío; Léo Moura, Willians, Toró, Ibson and Juan; Emerson and Adriano.

Striker Adriano will take to the field on Sunday against Inter wearing the number 90. Serbian Petkovic, if selected for the match, will wear the number 43.
