Cuellár highlights the importance of the victory in Oruro and plans the classic against Vasco

Before the start of the activity led by coach Abel Braga, midfielder Gustavo Cuéllar spoke to the press in a press conference and highlighted the victory in the Libertadores debut, against San José, and the focus for the classic against Vasco da Gama.
Regarding Mais Querido's triumph in Oruro, the number 8 emphasized the relevance of the result.
"It was important for our Libertadores campaign to start with a win. It's very difficult to play at altitude, especially for Brazilians who aren't used to it, as there's a lot of it in Colombia. The result was important and boosts our morale for the derby," said the midfielder.
About to play another match against Vasco, Cuéllar was direct about the red-black attitude.
"For us, it's obviously a classic, just like Fluminense and Botafogo. We respect our opponents, but we have to be serious about trying to get the three points and do our best. We want to get close to victory; we'll face Vasco to get the points and get closer to qualifying."
When asked about the pressure and favoritism in the Clássico dos Milhões, the watchdog did not hesitate.
"Flamengo always has the responsibility to win any game. It doesn't increase. We're wearing the jersey of the biggest club in Brazil, and we'll always strive for victory. We always have a good result in mind, because the pressure will always be there at Flamengo."
Finally, the player discussed the experience of training at Gávea, a new experience for some of the players in the squad.
"When we arrived here, we said that training at Gávea was motivating. We remembered Flamengo's history; it was part of the beginning of everything. Some players hadn't been here before, and we have a lot of affection from our fans. The experience of returning to Gávea has been very important for all of us," concluded Cuéllar.

"Speaking of performance, it was clear that we're in good physical shape to play at altitude and get a good result. We're not 100% yet, but we're getting closer and closer as the games go on."
