Negotiations between Flamengo and Panathinaikos, from Greece, to renew David's contract with the Rubro-negro continue. The player's contract ended this Wednesday (June 30.06), but Flamengo's directors had already obtained authorization for the athlete to remain with the other players, during the off-season, in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo, if the pending issues had not been resolved.
David, whose rights are tied to the Greek club, continues to train normally while the two parties discuss extending his contract with Flamengo. To this end, in addition to the authorization, Flamengo will take out special insurance for the player.
