On Friday morning (24), Flamengo held another training session at Ninho do Urubu, focusing on the first game against Fluminense, in the final of the Campeonato Carioca. Before the activity began, defender David Luiz participated in a press conference and spoke about some important topics. Check it out below:

"We have a qualified group. When you play for a club the size of Flamengo, there's always going to be pressure. When you don't win, everything is wrong. We need to have the discernment to understand that everything isn't wrong. We're building a very cohesive team for the present and the future. It's in our daily training sessions that we try to find the best way to achieve results."

"We're very confident and eager to win our first trophy of 2023. When these decisive games come around, we want to be on the field as quickly as possible. The pressure will always be there, especially after losing a few titles. But now we're excited and eager to win our first title soon," the defender revealed.

The red-black squad returns to training this Saturday morning (25). It is worth remembering that the first leg of the Cariocão finals will be played on April 1 (Saturday), at 20:30 pm, at Maracanã.
