itu (SP) - The spell has backfired. Playful David, always one of the players most likely to tease his teammates, is now experiencing the other side of the coin. His contract with Flamengo ended on the 30th, and the player still doesn't know if he'll stay with the club. Because of this, he's become the target of the group's jokes.

"No, David, you're going to stay in Itu, but at Ituano", "David, be careful not to get hurt, you're no longer an employee" and "Poor David. He doesn't have a radio (his cell phone broke), he doesn't have a laptop charger (he forgot to take it to Itu) and he doesn't have a contract" were some of the pearls of wisdom released by the players.
 
"The guys keep joking with me, saying that I'm going to stay here in Itu, but only if it's at Ituano, they keep joking that my contract is over and that now I'm no longer entitled to anything... I always joke around a lot, now I have to put up with it too, right?", commented David.

The defender emphasized the importance of this kind of atmosphere within the squad. According to him, a good sense of humor only helps.

"This is important. This atmosphere is different in our group. We're all very close, we're always joking, everyone accepts the jokes, likes them, and this helps to relax in a moment of such concentration," said the player, who took the opportunity to announce that he will get revenge.

"Leave them alone. When things get sorted out and I renew, I'll go all out against them again," he added.
