De Arrascaeta praises the Rubro-Negro squad: 'We're going to fight for a lot'

With an eye on the game against Americano, Flamengo continues to prepare intensely at the George Helal Training Center. The duel against the Campos team will be on Sunday (24), at 17 pm, at Maracanã. Before training this Thursday (21), De Arrascaeta gave a press conference, praised the Mais Querido squad and guaranteed that Rubro-Negro will fight for everything they are competing for.
"It's crucial to stay focused throughout the match. We're at the beginning of the season. We have positive things to take away, and our squad is very strong. It's going to be an important year, and we're going to fight for a lot."
"Everyone wants to play, and we'll fight in training for a starting spot. I want to help the team, no matter where I'm at. If I have to start the game, I'll do my best to help my teammates. I'm ready," added the number 14.
The midfielder has played in various attacking positions with Abel Braga and spoke about the tests the coach has been carrying out with the players.
"I've already played centrally and also on the left. I'm starting to develop a new style of play that we have and I'm going to add to it. Abel will find the ideal place for me to feel comfortable."
Finally, De Arrascaeta spoke about the relationship he is having with the Biggest Fan Base in the World in these first months at Flamengo.
"Their affection is immense. They welcomed me well. Everyone gave me strength, and mistakes can happen to anyone. It happened to me, but I'm training well and I'll do my best to make the fans happy."
