In 2018, he was part of the squad that won the fourth São Paulo Cup title for Mais Querido. In an exclusive interview with FlaTV, he showed that, despite being one of the youngest players on the team, he understands the importance of the competition.

"I've always watched the São Paulo Cup and know it's a very important tournament for the category. Now, having this opportunity, I'm taking advantage of it. I'm calm, I know the pressure from Flamengo, that I have to always strive for the best. I've already adapted to the U-20 team," he said.
