Change gears, as the focus now returns to the Copa do Brasil! After beating Internacional 2-0 at the Maracanã, the Flamengo squad returned to training on Monday afternoon (07) and began preparations for the match against Ponte Preta. In the first leg, Mais Querido played away from home and achieved a 1-0 victory.

The athletes who started the game against the team from Rio Grande do Sul yesterday afternoon at the Maracanã remained at the Center of Excellence in Performance (CEP FLA) practicing regenerative exercises with the assistance of the club's physical trainers.

Simultaneously, the other part of the group worked on Field 5 under the guidance of Maurício Barbieri. The training session included small-sided games, focused on quick passing in a tight space.

Recovering from injury, midfielder Diego continued his treatment on the sand court at Ninho do Urubu. Accompanied by physiotherapist Fred Manhães, the number 10 moved well and performed strengthening exercises.
