With an eye on the classic against Fluminense, the Mais Querido squad returned to training this Monday afternoon (4) at Ninho do Urubu and began preparations for the classic valid for the tenth round of the Brazilian Championship. After the victory against Corinthians, Flamengo remains in the lead of the national competition with 20 points.

The athletes who started the match against the São Paulo team last Sunday (3) carried out regenerative work at the Center of Excellence in Performance (CEP FLA). Meanwhile, the other athletes worked with Maurício Barbieri on Field 4 at Ninho do Urubu. 

On the same pitch, the goalkeepers worked hard under the supervision of coaches José Jober and Nielsen Elias. Thiago, César, and Gabriel Batista trained on the field, while Diego Alves remained in the gym doing specific exercises. 

Juan, Geuvânio, Berrío, Pará and Réver continued their recovery processes with physical trainer Fábio Eiras and also with physiotherapist Fred Manhães. The squad returns to work this Wednesday (5), at 15 pm, at Ninho do Urubu.
