Keeping an eye on Fla-Flu

By Flamengo Archive - inFlamengo's squad returned to training this Tuesday morning at the Ninho do Urubu Training Center in Vargem Grande. The Gávea team began preparing for their next Brazilian Championship match, Sunday, against Fluminense at the Maracanã stadium.
Fitness coach Alexandre Sanz led a vigorous training session and made the players sweat during the first training session of the week. The exceptions were Adriano, Ronaldo Angelim, Ibson, Willians, and Zé Roberto. The Emperor remained in the physical therapy room due to pain in the adductor muscle of his right thigh. The defender, who is suspended from the Fla-Flu match, was cleared to travel to Juazeiro, Ceará. Ibson, with muscle pain, and Willians, with an ingrown toenail, worked with Zé Roberto in the weight room.
The cast returns to work in the afternoon, in Vargem Grande.
