In a match of the 17th round of the Brasileirão, Flamengo beat Atlético-MG, in a comeback, by 2 to 1 on Saturday night (29), at Independência, in Belo Horizonte. Arrascaeta and Wesley, both in the second half, scored the goals of the red-black triumph away from home. With the result, Rubro-Negro took second place in the championship.

The game
The match began with Atlético dominating possession. Flamengo waited in their own half to counterattack. Gradually, the red-and-black team began to gain more control of possession and began exchanging passes in the attacking half.

In the 14th minute, the "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved) team had its first clear chance. Gerson provided a great pass to Gabi, who burst into the box and shot under pressure from Atlético's defense. It's worth noting that the game was intense, with both teams fighting for possession.

At 32', Atlético-MG opened the scoring with Paulinho, who advanced at speed, invaded the area and hit the ball hard into the corner: 1-0. The first half ended with the home team in the lead.
