In a comeback, Mengão beats Resende 3-1, at Maraca, for Carioca
In the main cast's debut, Pedro, Gabigol and Bruno Henrique bring joy to the Nation

In the main squad's 2020 debut, the "Mais Querido" defeated Resende 3-1, delighting the more than 53 Flamengo fans (a record attendance for the year) at the "Biggest in the World." Pedro, Gabigol, and Bruno Henrique scored Flamengo's goals in the match, which was part of the fifth round of the Guanabara Cup.
The game
In the first half, Mengão, in excellent form, created numerous chances. And it was Bruno Henrique who came closest to scoring. With the result, Mengão took second place in Group A of the Taça Guanabara with 10 points, the same score as leader Boavista.
