Few Flamengo players have as good a reason as striker Souza to feel at home at Serra Dourada. After all, when he faces Goiás this Sunday at 16 p.m., he'll be returning to the stadium where he enjoyed some great moments between 2005 and 2006.

In his first season with Goiás, he scored 18 goals in the Brazilian Championship, finishing four behind Romário, the top scorer in that edition of the competition. In 2006, he scored 17 goals and became the top scorer. When asked how he expects to be received by the Goiás fans, Souza said that only the match itself will tell.

"But I expect applause, especially for what I did wearing the Goiás jersey. I had some great times there and managed to score goals. I think it was a great time in my career. Now I'm playing for Flamengo and I hope to help the team win," says Souza.
