Since arriving at Flamengo, midfielder Correa has assumed an important role in the group. Whether as a starter or coming off the bench, the player has become a key piece due to his experience in the Flamengo squad. Since his debut in July, against Atlético-GO, he has already played 21 games for the Gávea team, and this Wednesday (November 03.11rd) will be his 22nd – his 19th as a starter.

The number 7 player anticipates a great match against Ceará, which, according to him, is a crucial clash for Flamengo's objectives in the Brazilian Championship. He believes the game is very difficult, but there's a good chance Flamengo will win.

"The match against Ceará will be complicated, it's a direct confrontation and we really need this positive result. We know we'll have the support of the fans and we'll try to play a great game," he said.

The midfielder believes that the week of intense training at Ninho do Urubu will ultimately make all the difference when the team takes the field.

"It was a good week, with a lot of work. We're going to train hard, without rest, so we can reap the rewards in the next game. It's always good to have more time to get things right," he added.
