The night at the Roberto Meléndez Metropolitan Stadium was a star-studded one for Felipe Vizeu. With two goals in the final stage of the match this Thursday (30), the young Garoto do Ninho stamped Flamengo's passport to the Conmebol Sudamericana final, dispatching Junior Barranquilla 2-0 (3-1 on aggregate).

After the match, the striker spoke to the press in the mixed zone. "I'm very happy. The support I've been receiving from the group, the fans, and the board is always very important. This has helped me convey this calmness on the field. These are two more very important goals for my career, just like the one in the first game against them at Maracanã. It made history, and I'm happy to have scored again, helping the team qualify for the final," said Vizeu.

"I studied their team a lot. In the first match, for example, I knew my balls would have to have more depth. We athletes know that it's not just about going out on the field and playing; we always need to study the opposing team. I'm always doing this, and it helps me on the field," explained the player.

In two matches against Junior, Felipe Vizeu scored one goal at Maracanã and two in Colombia. In addition to his three goals in the semifinal, he also made his mark in the quarterfinals against Fluminense. "It never crosses our minds to score three goals in a semifinal. But we're hard workers and we know the importance of scoring. It's my role to help the team with goals. I'm excited to do this in the CONMEBOL South American Championship," he added.

The next red-black commitment will be on Sunday (3), when Mais Querido faces Vitória, away from home, at 17 pm, for the last round of the Brazilian Championship.
