In the last two games, Val Baiano scored three goals, and Deivid adequately replaced him this Saturday (October 16.10th). With the number 9 suffering from a right calf injury, it fell to number 99 to fulfill the role of Flamengo's top scorer against Internacional. And he did not disappoint. Vanderlei Luxemburgo had already indicated that he had great confidence in the striker, and the player himself stated that he has been improving since arriving at Gávea.

Proof of this came in the form of goals: two, one from a penalty and one with a header, in the 3-0 victory over Inter at the Engenhão stadium. An unquestionable result, as was Deivid's fundamental participation in the match. After the game, the center forward spoke about his good performance and the goals, which already total four with the Flamengo jersey.

"I'm very happy to have scored the goals. I came from abroad, I had to play anyway, it's very different, but I'm improving. During the week, I worked well, lost weight and I hope to continue like this, getting better and better to help Flamengo," he said.

And the one who was most happy about this, besides, of course, the entire Flamengo Nation, was little Giulia, seven years old, honored by her father in the celebrations.

"My daughter turns seven today, I send her my congratulations. Unfortunately, we couldn't be together today, but I'll be celebrating with her tomorrow," he assured.

Sunday and Monday will be days off for the Flamengo players, who will return to training next Tuesday at 10 am at Ninho do Urubu.
