Deivid undergoes physiological evaluations and is already thinking about his debut

By From the team at Flamengo's official website - inOne of Flamengo's key signings of the season, striker Deivid arrived at Gávea permanently this Saturday (August 28.08). The player was introduced last Monday, but traveled back to Turkey to resolve personal issues before returning to Brazil. Deivid's first day in the red-and-black jersey was spent undergoing evaluations and physiology tests.
\The striker had a brief meeting with his new teammates, spoke with executive director Zico, and then went to work with Paulo Figueiredo, the club's physiologist. Excited about the chance to wear the Sacred Mantle, Flamengo's new number 99 can't wait to debut for the Rubro-Negro.
"We don't have much time to waste. By participating in some training sessions with the group during the week, I'll be ready to be on the field next Sunday. It will be great to debut at Maracanã," he said.
Deivid should do his first training session with the group next Monday (30.08). As the squad plays against Cruzeiro on Wednesday (01.09), the striker will have a special training schedule during the week to be in playing condition on Sunday (05.09), against Santos.
