After Sunday's break (11.07), Flamengo's squad held their penultimate training session on Monday (12.07) before the return of the Brasileirão, against Botafogo, next Wednesday (14.07), at 21 pm, at Maracanã. Before actually starting to work, the players met with club president Patrícia Amorim and the coaching staff in the center of the pitch.

After the chat, coach Rogério Lourenço divided the squad into three groups. Two teams played a training match, and a third group did a separate session. The Flamengo coach fielded the starting lineup: Marcelo Lomba, Léo Moura, Ronaldo Angelim, David, and Juan; Willians, Correa, Kleberson, and Petkovic; Vinícius Pacheco and Diego Maurício. The reserves were Paulo Vítor, Fabrício, Welliton, and Jean; Everton Silva, Rômulo, Fierro, Michael, Camacho, and Rodrigo Alvim; and Paulo Sérgio.

While the ball was rolling at Gávea, Val Baiano, Fernando, Léo Medeiros, Saba, Galhardo, Lenon, and Jorbison worked on their physical fitness on one side of the field. Afterwards, the group moved on to finishing. Midfielder Maldonado continued his recovery work at the Football Department's gym and then ran laps around the pitch. Toró, with a broken hand, remains in the medical department.

Presentations
Flamengo's three new signings (Marquinhos, Cristian Borja, and Vinícius) will be introduced this Tuesday (July 13.07). The players have already reached an agreement with the club, but will only officially wear the jersey in the presence of executive director of football, Zico, who will return to the club on Tuesday after leading a football clinic at Disney. Marquinhos has already donned Flamengo's training jersey and participated in the conversation that took place before the start of training on Monday.
