The unexpected 3-2 loss to Universidad de Chile in the first leg of the competition's quarterfinals was considered by the players to be the key factor in their elimination.

Emperor Adriano, who assisted the first and scored the second goal for the red-black team, believes that the team did not lack desire in the game this Thursday and regretted not having gone further in the competition.

"We landed on our feet. We played a good game today, but unfortunately we didn't qualify," said the center forward.
