Defensive standout in the victory against Grêmio, Fabrício Bruno is the guest on “Resenha do Craque”
Defender spoke to FlaTv and commented on his good performance in the first leg of the Copa do Brasil
By Gabriel Lima* - inDefender Fabrício Bruno was a guest on FlaTV's "Resenha do Craque" this Friday (28) and spoke a little about his great match and defensive solidity in the victory against Grêmio. The number 15 commented on the good advantage that Mais Querido got away from home in the first leg of the Copa do Brasil, and projected the next match valid for the Brazilian Championship against Atlético Mineiro, tomorrow (29), at Arena Independência. Check out some excerpts from the interview:
Projection for Saturday's game
"We know we need to get back to scoring in the Brazilian Championship, stay close to the leader. Forget the Copa do Brasil game, because it's far away now, and focus on this match against Atlético tomorrow. Right after that, it's a little different: the Libertadores. A different championship, a different style of play. The expectation is to play a great game in Belo Horizonte, and, God willing, we can come away with a positive result."
About your speed
"I guarantee it 100%. I don't say this out of arrogance, but rather as a quality I have. I'm a guy who often doesn't go for a run, and I often prepare to run because I trust my speed, regardless of who it is."
Player with the most minutes this season
"Regardless of who plays, the club is well served. Of course, every player wants to play, wants to participate, especially in moments like this, the Copa do Brasil semifinals and the Libertadores round of 16. I prepare myself, I sat out two games and worked hard, I knew I would eventually return to play, and you have to be physically and mentally prepared to play big games."
About David Luiz, Filipe Luis and Arrascaeta
"I've always praised David, so I don't need to talk about him, either as a person or as a player, because I've already made several public statements about him. Like Suárez, Filipe Luis is a highly regarded player with a brilliant career. It's a privilege, a pleasure to have him here in our football team, because often, players leave here early, go abroad, and never want to come back. I saw an interview with Braz talking about Filipe, and when it came to him coming here, he had to be incredibly persuasive. It's great to have a guy here with us who doesn't need to talk about his technical quality and the person he is within the group, who is loved by everyone. I'd already played with Arrascaeta at Cruzeiro, and I'd known him for a while, and being at Flamengo is a privilege, the realization of a great dream."
