This Wednesday (25.05), fans hope to celebrate another victory in the Brazilian Championship. However, three important contributors to the red-black football team have already woken up celebrating, as today is Massage Therapist's Day. The professional coaching staff is made up of Adenir Silva (Denir), Jorge Domingos (Jorginho) and Esmar Alves (Russo).

 

Denir, in 35 years at the club, has worked at four World Cups, three of them with the Brazilian national team. Jorginho arrived a year earlier, in 1980, and in 36 years of service to Flamengo, he was part of the coaching staffs that won the World Cup for both the Red-Blacks in 1981 and Brazil in 2002. Russo arrived at the Mais Querido 24 years ago and, in addition to winning titles with the Manto Sagrado, competed in the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo with the Brazilian national team, in the Dominican Republic, in 2003.
