The Flamengo football team's morning training session at the George Helal Training Center got off to a different start this Wednesday (September 30.09). Before training on the field, the players attended a lecture by members of Flamengo's coaching staff. Coach Oswaldo de Oliveira, physiologist Claudio Pavanelli, and nutritionist Leo Acro discussed hydration, nutrition, and rest for games at 11 a.m. At this time, next Sunday (October 04.10), the "Mais Querido" takes the field against Joinville, in the 29th round of the Brasileirão.
On the field, the training session consisted of possession, without goalkeepers, and a 10-on-10 format. The goalkeepers trained separately with goalkeeper coach Wagner Miranda. The starting lineup consisted of Ayrton, Cesar Martins, Samir, and Jajá; Márcio Araújo, Canteros, and Alan Patrick; Éverton, Paulinho, and Guerrero. Each team had to steal the ball from the other on one side of the field. Later in the activity, Paulo Victor joined the team. Left-back Jorge continued treatment for a blow he sustained in the match against Vasco last Sunday. Wallace and Pará continue to receive full-time treatment.
