Shirt 10 gave a press conference this Monday, in Gávea
By Communication - Flamengo - inNow the focus is on the Libertadores! Returning to training on Monday afternoon (11), in Gávea, captain Diego Ribas gave a press conference. In another important week, the number 10 spoke about the preparation, the return of the Garotos do Ninho and the victory in the debut against San José.
"We'll definitely prepare for a tough, difficult game, just like all of them. We haven't started our in-depth analysis of their team yet; that will start today. We'll arrive ready to face a team that will come here to give us a hard time. We're willing to do anything to overcome all these difficulties in the match," said the red-and-black captain.
When asked about the competition in the red-black squad, the player was emphatic and highlighted the strength of the Mais Querido squad.
"This competitive situation exists and is very strong. Flamengo benefits from it. I've lived with it throughout my career. Everyone is focused and dedicated. I'm versatile, and Abel knows where he can use me or not. It's up to the coach to decide. Playing further forward or further back, I believe everyone can do it. The coach will decide what's best for the team," he emphasized.
During the week of the Garotos do Ninho's return, the star player was happy with the return of the young players.
"The boys' return gives us hope. It's wonderful to see the boys smiling and dreaming! We have to stand up and do what's necessary to ease the pain of those involved. It's beautiful to see the boys fighting for their dream."

Team relay
I believe that today it's possible that we have these alternatives to maintain the team's high level. The player doesn't play and that's to preserve the player. This is undoubtedly beneficial and should be done. We players need to be at a high level. To do this, it's necessary to sit out from time to time. That's what happened this weekend.
Performance in Libertadores games and spirit playing at home
The first away win is an interesting starting point. The three home games will depend on our performance. Wherever we play, we'll go for the win. I hope the fans are there, as they always have been. Last year we played two games without them, but this one we'll have a full house. We're moving forward; we always have an obligation to win when we play at home.
Stance against LDU
We have to follow the pre-established rules and remain calm during the game. It's up to us players to find the balance. The fans are doing their part, and we have to know how to do ours. Let's put on a great performance.
