After winning another match this season, Rubro-Negro is focused on the commitment against Ponte Preta, for the Copa do Brasil. At Ninho do Urubu, the squad continues preparing for the duel next Thursday (10), which will take place at Maracanã.
On Tuesday afternoon (08), goalkeeper Diego Alves spoke about the good moment that the Flamengo defense has been going through. Flamengo has not conceded a goal in five games.
"It's always important to have confidence in the defense. We haven't conceded a goal in five games. Barbieri is doing a good job and the group has embraced the idea. It's not just us back there, it's the collective. Everyone helps in marking. Regardless of the team we face, we are creating our own style and way of playing."
Flamengo trained once again on Tuesday afternoon (08) and before the activities, defender Léo Duarte discussed the match against Ponte Preta, at Ninho do Urubu.
"We have to take it one game at a time. Now we're switching gears and returning to the Copa do Brasil. We have an important game against Ponte Preta and we hope to advance."
