"I think the group is growing. We kept the core group and now we're doing our job. As the matches progress, we'll gain more understanding with the new players and achieve ideal physical conditioning," said Diego, who then spoke about the result achieved. "We faced a difficult team and the four-to-one score was quite satisfactory," he added.

The continuity of the work is of fundamental importance for the team's evolution, according to the number 35. With the retention of most of the group and the coaching staff, along with the addition of quality reinforcements, Flamengo is capable of delivering this type of performance.
