Diego talks about missed chances and previews the match against Emelec.
The number 10 also spoke about the difficulty of playing away from home.
By Mariana Sa - inAfter the 0-0 draw against Santa Fé at El Campín stadium, on Wednesday night (25), number 10 Diego spoke to the press at the match venue and analyzed Flamengo's performance, citing the chances missed by the red-black team. The player also commented on the duel against Emelec, the next one for the Conmebol Libertadores.
“We could have created more chances. We didn't play a good game technically, but I don't regret this away point. We know how difficult it is to play a Conmebol Libertadores match away from home. I regretted much more the points we failed to get in Rio de Janeiro against them. It was a very tough game and the team overcame the difficulty with determination. We have a home game against Emelec and qualification is in our hands. We will be able to count on our fans for the first time in this group stage, so we will go all out to get the victory,” analyzed the number 10.
Flamengo returns to the field on Sunday (29), at 16 pm, when they face Ceará at Castelão. For the Libertadores, Mengo only returns to play in the competition on 05/16, when they host Emelec, at 21:45 pm, at Maracanã.
