"It was a very tough game, which we expected. Their recent results, especially at home, show how difficult it is to play against América. Even in last place, they create a lot of difficulties, and today was no different," said the number 35. "We were better, we struggled a bit, we knew how to suffer and we won on our own merits," he concluded.

With the three points and the return to second place in the Brazilian Championship, the midfielder believes that the dream of the title is still very much alive.

"As long as we have the chance, we will continue fighting, dreaming, and believing. It's still possible. We have to do our part first. Today we did it, and now we just have to wait for the other results," Diego concluded.
