The new starting striker for Flamengo, the young Diego Maurício, just 19 years old, is increasingly establishing himself in the Rubro-Negro's main team. Praised by coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo, he doesn't hide his satisfaction at experiencing a good phase, both individually and collectively.

The center forward sees the final stretch of the Brazilian Championship as the time to get back on track and try to finish the season achieving the goal set by the coach: to reach the 2011 Copa Sudamericana.

"There are eight games left. We have this intense battle to finish the year on a high note," he said.
