During the game against Atlético-PR, last Wednesday (12), midfielder Diego left the field with an injury. On the morning of this Thursday (13), the athlete underwent imaging tests that confirmed the initial impression of the red-black medical department.

In a press conference held at the George Helal Training Center, Dr. Márcio Tannure, head of Flamengo's medical department, explained the situation. Diego suffered injuries to the medial collateral ligament and the medial meniscus of his right knee. He will undergo arthroscopy, which will be led by Dr. Tannure, on Saturday (15), and will begin physiotherapy according to a schedule established by the club's technical committee.
