Striker Diogo arrived at Flamengo with high expectations, and upon his debut, he made a lasting impression on the Flamengo fans. Now, his goal is to maintain his strong performance in the following matches to earn the nation's trust and help the Gávea team achieve more victories in the Brazilian Championship. Still improving physically, the player believes he will soon be in peak form to contribute even more to the team.

"I think that in two or three games I'll be back to my normal rhythm and that of my teammates. My physical condition wasn't at its best in this debut, but I was still able to help. Now I hope to do much more with the sequence of matches," he said.

The player thanked the red-and-black fans for their support and the applause he received after being substituted in the match against Atlético Mineiro, and only regretted not leaving the field with the victory. Furthermore, the number 43 gave the team the recipe for a successful run in the competition: creating more scoring chances.

"It was good, but it would have been better if we had won. It was a good game, despite the score. The fans are demanding it because they don't see the result, but deep down they know the team is trying, is improving, and with each game we will try to create more opportunities to score goals and get victories," said the striker, who thanked his teammates for the support he received on the field.

"They made me feel very comfortable. I'm sure I have peace of mind, the responsibility isn't just mine, it's everyone's, and on the field I'm talking to everyone and we try to reach an agreement," he concluded.
