Diogo bets on Flamengo's attacking trio
The striker is confident that his partnership with Deivid and Renato will help Rubro-Negro defeat Palmeiras at Engenhão.

Flamengo's constantly evolving attacking trio of Renato, Deivid, and Diogo is becoming more and more cohesive and posing more danger to their opponents. The first two even scored goals against Fluminense. Diogo just needs to find his enchantment. But without worrying about that, he's confident the trio has what it takes to excel in the coming rounds.
Three of Flamengo's key signings in the second half of the year are still adapting to Brazilian football, having been playing abroad, gaining a bit more game rhythm and getting to know Flamengo's style of play. Diogo believes they're expected to improve with each round.
"This trio really has everything it takes to bring a lot of joy to Flamengo fans. Of course, we're all still going through a period of adaptation, looking for better harmony, even a little more physical, but the team is evolving and we'll try to show that with each round," he said, in an exclusive interview with Flamengo's official website.
This Saturday (25.09), Rubro-Negro faces Palmeiras, at 18:30 pm, at Engenhão, and Diogo predicts a very balanced duel with Felipão's team. Despite this, he believes in victory and knows that only then will the team be able to continue its run in the Brazilian Championship.
"Palmeiras has a very high-quality team, which is also fighting to climb the table, and we know that this is a six-point game. It's a direct confrontation for position, and we have to go for the win. Our progress will only be proven by the results," he concluded.
