Striker Diogo left the Engenhão field this Sunday exhausted and suffering from severe cramps. But he also left with a sense of accomplishment. Substituted for Diego Maurício in the second half, the player received a standing ovation from the fans and expressed satisfaction with his performance in Flamengo's derby.

Despite not having scored his first goal wearing the red and black shirt, he provided the assist for David's goal and celebrated the goal of his attacking partner, Deivid, who was also looking for his first wearing the Sacred Mantle.

"It's true. Now I'm looking for my goal, but the important thing is that the team is improving and getting points on the field. I provided the assist for David's goal and I was very happy. It's important to be able to help in every way," he said.

The player was praised by coach Silas, who highlighted the number 43's commitment in every game since arriving at Fla.
