Flamengo and Emelec leaders meet on the eve of the Conmebol Libertadores clash
Teams face each other this Wednesday night, at 21:30 pm, at George Capwell Stadium
By Communication - Flamengo - inOn Tuesday night (23), in Ecuador, the directors of Flamengo and Emelec participated in a welcome dinner, a common practice in the Conmebol Libertadores. The vice-president of the Ecuadorian team, Edmundo Vejar, received a special plaque from Luiz Eduardo Baptista, vice-president of External Relations.
In addition to BAP, the red-and-black delegation included Rodrigo Dunshee, Vice President of General and Legal Affairs; Gustavo Oliveira, Vice President of Marketing and Communications; Cacau Cotta, Director of External Relations; Dekko Roisman and Diogo Lemos, members of the Football Council; and Yuri Palapoli, Communications Analyst. The meeting was also attended by Raul Gomez,
Antonio Pazminio, Carlos Ramirez and Marcos Pisco, directors of Emelec.
After dinner and conversation with Uruguayan leaders, General and Legal Vice President Rodrigo Dunshee highlighted the importance of expanding relationships with clubs outside the field.
"It was a very warm welcome from Emelec's board. It's great that Flamengo maintains good relations with other teams. The world is globalized, and it's our tradition to welcome clubs and be welcomed ourselves. In the game, may the best team win, and we hope it's our Flamengo."
Luiz Eduardo Baptista, Vice President of External Relations, commented on the celebration between the teams before a decisive game in the Libertadores.
"After the celebratory dinner with Emelec, we're very excited about the opportunities to strengthen our relationships. Tuesday was a festival of kindness, as we sought joint and business opportunities. The conversations were very productive. May Mengão achieve a great result this Wednesday."
Edmundo Vejar, vice president of Emelec, spoke of the importance of strengthening relations with Flamengo.
"I believe that socializing with Flamengo's leaders makes them feel at home. It was a very positive meeting and will certainly strengthen relations between our institutions."
