Domènec Torrent arrives in Rio and receives the affection of the Nation

With the affection of the Nation, Domènec Torrent, the new coach of Flamengo, landed this Monday morning (03), at Rio de Janeiro International Airport (Galeão), accompanied by the vice-president of football, Marcos Braz, and the director of football, Bruno Spindel. Upon arrival in Rio, the Catalan coach spoke to FlaTV and talked about his happiness at taking over the club:

- At Flamengo, we have to win, win, and win. Because Flamengo is one of the biggest clubs in the world. So, I think we are prepared, ready to try to win titles and play beautiful football. I am very happy to be part of this great club, this great nation. I think I am ready to try to win titles with this great fanbase.

Domenec will be presented today at 12:30 PM at Ninho do Urubu. Immediately after the press conference, the coach will begin working with the squad and lead his first training session for Flamengo.

Along with the coach, two members of his coaching staff also arrived: Jordi Guerrón, assistant coach, and Jordi Gris, performance analyst.

It's worth remembering that Flamengo makes its debut in the Brazilian Championship on Sunday (the 9th) against Atlético-MG, at the Maracanã.
