After 34 years, physician José Luiz Runco leaves his job as a Flamengo employee to work as a volunteer. Dr. Runco also served as the Brazilian national team's physician for 16 years.

Runco will continue to provide services to the World's Most Beloved, without an employment contract. Flamengo thanks the doctor for his years of dedication and work for the club and congratulates him on the titles he helped win.

Next Friday, August 14th, after the professional team's training at CT George Helal, Runco, President Eduardo Bandeira de Mello, General Director Fred Luz and Executive Director of Football Rodrigo Caetano will hold a press conference detailing the changes in the Club's Medical Department.
