"I know how difficult these past ten months have been for me and that it's not easy to come back after such a long time. However, I'm motivated and very happy because so many people have supported me, both here in the group and among this huge fan base we have. I'm very grateful to everyone and I always want to give my best. Of course, this needs to be done very intelligently and calmly for everything to work out. I hope to be available and help in the best way possible," said the player.

I think our team is highly qualified, we have a very good squad, and above all, they play very well together. I believe we're managing to put vanity aside; I really believe in Zé Ricardo's work, who has been giving everyone opportunities. This dynamic within our group is very positive. I believe we have a chance to fight until the end for the title, and with Flamengo's greatness, we have a duty to try and do so, because our fans deserve it so much. They support us a lot, both home and away, and that can help us a lot in each round. Our motto is to take it game by game and keep our feet on the ground.

It's sure to be a great game. Facing a qualified team like Atlético-MG right in the championship opener is a huge motivation for us; they're two state champions. After we arrived in Brazil from Europe, I saw that he transformed significantly and began to love football even more, becoming a natural Flamengo fan. He was very happy to see me play, as was my whole family. It was wonderful to see him with a smile on his face; it's very gratifying.

When a player is sidelined for a long time, the lack of rhythm, timing, spatial awareness, and team chemistry takes its toll. This comes with time and matches.
