Flamengo's number 10 scores in victory, praises work and dedicates the goal to the Nation

Flamengo remained strong in the fight for the G-4 with a 1-0 victory over Internacional on Wednesday night (29), at the Kléber Andrade stadium, in Cariacica-ES. In front of the stands packed by the Capixaba Nation, Rubro-Negro counted on a goal from Ederson to earn three more precious points in the Brazilian Championship classification table. The direct confrontation was valid for the 12th round of the competition.

The goal came during a moment of pressure from the Mais Querido. In the 18th minute, after Alan Patrick's corner kick from the right corner, Jorge had a great chance with a header from the edge of the penalty area after a rebound from the Colorado goalkeeper, but Internacional's William cleared it almost off the line. Subsequently, Willian Arão received the ball from Rafael Vaz, crossed, Guerrero headed it against the defense, and the ball fell to the Mengão number 10 who tapped it into Muriel's net.
"I've always been working hard, dedicating myself seriously in training and in games, always for the team, to help the team. I'm a very generous player and it's a pleasure for me to score a goal for our fans, who always support us. All the work is for them," said the athlete, who left the field to much applause 10 minutes into the second half to make way for Éverton.
