Great news arrived at the George Helal Training Center this Monday morning. Midfielder Ederson returned to training with his teammates after completing chemotherapy. The player only performed physical exercises in the gym. 

Diagnosed with cancer in July, the player underwent surgery to remove the tumor from his testicle and immediately began the recovery process. Earlier this month, Ederson completed his chemotherapy sessions and has now been cleared by doctors to return to training. There is no timetable for ball training. 

His last match for Flamengo was in June of this year, in a 1-1 draw against Avaí at the Ressacada Stadium in Florianópolis. Ederson has played 39 matches for Flamengo, scoring four goals.
