Flamengo's squad returned to training Monday afternoon in Gávea. The red-and-black team began preparing for its next Brazilian Championship match on Thursday against Cruzeiro at the Maracanã stadium.

The players who started yesterday's match against Grêmio only did physical exercises at the club's gym. The rest of the squad joined the youth squad for a training session led by Andrade. The red-and-black coach worked extensively on ball handling and finishing.

Striker Adriano and defender David were released from training. Toró and Léo Moura, injured, completed separate training sessions with the medical department.

After the activity, the vice-president of football, Marcos Braz, confirmed that Flamengo is interested in signing midfielder Corrêa, formerly of Palmeiras, who currently plays for Dynamo Kyiv.
