Mengão ended this Saturday morning (14), at Ninho do Urubu, the preparation for the match against Portuguesa, which will be played tomorrow, at 18 pm, at Maracanã, for the first round of the Campeonato Carioca. The match will mark the debut of the main squad in the 2023 season and of coach Vitor Pereira in charge of the red-black team.

Athlete Rodrigo Caio is training normally with the squad and is currently reconditioning. Left-back Filipe Luís is continuing his preseason training after an injury suffered in the Copa Libertadores final and is also reconditioning. Neither will be included in the squad for this Sunday's match.
