In training held in the morning of this Wednesday (05), the red-black group continued preparations for the classic against Vasco, for the semifinal of the Taça Rio. The match will take place next Saturday (08), at Maracanã, with the ball rolling from 18:30h.
On Field 5, the athletes participated in a technical activity after pre-training exercises at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA), which consisted of drills focused on passing accuracy. On the same field, goalkeeping coach Vitor Hugo led goal kick-off and throw-in work, as well as game situations. Later, Zé Ricardo coordinated collective training on a reduced-size field.
Meanwhile, alongside the Garotos do Ninho under-16 team on Field 3 of the training center, Argentine midfielder Darío Conca also did specific work to improve his technical skills, coordinated by physical trainer Roberto Oliveira and physiotherapist Fred Manhães.
Closing the activities, part of the group remained on the lawn, where finishing training took place. The group returns to Ninho do Urubu on the morning of this Thursday (06) to continue preparing for the classic.
